Speeding up learning a skill
kids need help how to break a skill down. Juggling can be quite frustrating in the beginning. I would suggest showing some drills that put emphasis on control and small increments of improvement.
On juggling, instead of trying to do as many in a row that you can. Do 1 catch the ball, then do 2 and catch, 3 and catch etc.. when you make an error go back to the 1 and catch, then two, three etc. The kid spends more time doing it right ( in control) gets more touches ( not chasing the ball all over) and build confidence (lots of success)
We also like doing it in batches of 3. 3-1 juggle, 3-2 juggles, 3-3, juggles but when you have an error you go back to the previous number instead of back to beginning. I find the kid learns faster and has more fun.
